Carole Lesimple / Freelance translator and founder of Wordsafe

I have created Wordsafe, as a freelancer, after an experience as a trainee and then as an in-house translator during a fixed-term contract within an international company specialised in food processing and oilseed extraction. Before that, I completed a Post-Master Degree (Second-class Honours) in Translation and Technical Writing at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO), in Brest (France).

During seven years of higher education, I have acquired a sound knowledge in linguistics, literature, visual arts and other fields nurturing the translation needs.

I also have a technical and scientific background which allows me to offer my services in specific fields, especially in medical and health care translations. In addition to a training in Laboratory Sciences and Technologies specialised in Microbiology and Biochemistry (acquired in High School), I also have a complementary training in: Food & Feed Safey (salmonella, HACCP), Environment ISO 14001:2011, Fire prevention, Legionella, Electrical safety and Chemical hazards.*
